My Story

Picture of Dot Iris

Hey, I’m Dot.

After more than a decade working in tech—alongside design and marketing teams at P&G—I reached a moment where things shifted. A major project wrapped up, and around the same time, my husband (an independent recording artist) was facing a turning point of his own.

He had just signed a distribution deal and started working with a Nashville PR firm. It was exciting—but also overwhelming. Suddenly, everything needed to change: the website, the branding, the content, the social media. And none of it felt like him. On top of that, we didn’t have creative control over the digital spaces that were supposed to represent his work.

So, I stepped in.

What started as a one-time project slowly became something bigger. I rebuilt his brand identity, created a new no-code website from the ground up, and handled the digital details—SEO, social posts, email campaigns, and ongoing updates. Little by little, things felt clearer. More manageable. More aligned.

And somewhere along the way, I realized I loved this work—not just the building, but the support.

Because a website isn’t just about how it looks. It’s about helping people find you, understand you, and take the next step—quietly working in the background while you focus on what you do best.

That’s what I do now.

I help small businesses, artists, and small teams move forward digitally—without pressure, without massive budgets, and without feeling like everything has to be perfect before you begin. I build clean, no-code websites and help maintain them so they stay functional, searchable, and aligned long after launch.

I also help with the things that often get pushed aside: content updates, social media posts, newsletters, blog updates, and keeping event or band schedules current across your website and platforms. Because a great website only works if people actually get there—and a simple, consistent update can make more difference than people realize.

I understand that not everyone has the time, budget, or desire to hire a full agency or bring on an employee. And I know how intimidating that first step can feel. Working with me isn’t about doing everything at once—it’s about doing something, and doing it at a pace that feels right.

Think of me as steady digital support.

No overwhelm. No rush. Just forward movement.

If this feels like your sign to finally start—or to gently clean up what’s already there—you’re in the right place. I’m here when you’re ready.
